I was born in Denmark in December 1978 and started cycling the world in 1999. After getting hooked on the back roads and remoteness of especially the Andes, the Himalayas and the surrounding mountain ranges, spending most of my time roaming around those areas, I started studying journalism in 2003. I continued cycling during sommers and winters.
In 2004 I moved to Bombay, India and worked as a crime reporter for Bombay newspaper Mid Day, and in 2006 I lived in San Francisco finishing my degree in journalism. I am currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark where I am working as the editor in chief of Danish adventure travel magzine Opdag Verden.
If you have any questions or suggestions for routes or mountain passes I simply must ride, please contact me on toregroenne@gmail.com.
Cheers,
Tore |
